After a few days of rain and 50 degree weather, Friday June, 5th proved to be a beautiful day! It was sunny and a very comfortable 70 degrees when we got to Circle S farms. I planned an outing to Circle S for my moms group Mops. It was also a treat to have G'ma and G'pa Thomas out to help with the girls and enjoy the wonderful strawberry bounty! The girls had a great time, and Afton sure is a strawberry pickin' pro!!!! Avery also is proving to be quite the informative chatterbox as she made a few comments to our hayride driver.
Looks like fun. Love the pig tails, Avery! Not to be a smarty pants, but was that a hay field or a strawberry patch?!?
ReplyDeleteHey smarty pants, they have a new kind of strawberries in Ohio! We were told they like the shade from the hay in the summer and in the winter it protects the berry plants. It sure was fun picking strawberries...Avery was the picker and Afton was the eater.
