Celebrating Birthday #3

Today is Avery's birthday!!! She turned 3 and had a few friends over to share some ice cream cupcakes. Not only did her friends come over, she got to open some fun presents too!
I am so thankful for a beautiful and healthy little girl, even though there are many times during the day I don't seem so thankful. Avery is a handful, but I will give her Grace for all those things that "irritates" mom. I love her, and I thank God for her, it is an honor to be her mom. Happy Birthday Avery!

Early b-day celebration

This worm was not a gift...and it will not be a pet either.
Good picture taking Lori! I love this one :-)
She loves these new shades.

Avery got to celebrate her birthday early on our last day visiting at G'ma and G'pa Thomas' house. She loves cake!

Fourth of July Fishin!

Afton thought the airhorn on this tractor was pretty neat.
sweet and innocent...
I thought she was going to grab that fish and give it a kiss!
My big girl fishin' on her own!

What a beautiful day it was! Perfect for fishin'
Avery, Aaron, and Afton got to go out to Ann's farm (Chad's aunt) to fish. Grandpa and Daddy came along to help. I think that the first cast into the pond, they caught a pretty good sized bass. I think Avery had more fun handling the worms. Afton just ran around the pond quacking at the geese. Unfortunately, she stepped in lots and lots of goose poop!!

Make shift water park and play dough fun with the cousins

Poor Afton, her slide didn't even have any water!!!

July 1st and we got corn!!!!!

We were visiting Lori and we were so lucky to benefit from her Amish neighbors. They had "seconds" to give away...and we gladly took the corn they were not able to sell. Some of the ears may not have been the best looking, but boy were they tasty. Afton couldn't wait for us to cook the corn, so she decided to get started right away.

Dutch Wonderland

On Jun 28th, I decided to pack up the girls and drive out to Lancaster County, PA to visit Chad's family. I made the trip in under 8 hours and the girls did so good. The next day after our arrival, we got to go to Dutch Wonderland with my Sister In Law Lori and her kids (Claudia, Morgan, and Aaron) Chad's mom went too. Being pregnant, I was not "allowed" to go on the rides, but I was able to take some fun pictures. Avery had a ball!!!
