We took a visit to the zoo this past weekend. Something we do quite often. Well, I should say Chad takes the girls quite a bit. I go occasionally. We took a visit to see the Lorikeets. Cute little parrots that fly free and for 1 dollar, you can buy syrup to feed them. Avery is supposed to be our resident bird lover, however we found out that she is afraid of birds at least when they are up close and personal. Chad was quite popular!!! Afton has no fear at this point in her life and was ready and willing to participate in feeding the birds. I know, I know, she looks a little "relaxed" in this shot. It was hard to keep Avery calm and take pictures at the same time. If you see Afton, ask her if she is a pirate. She will reply "Arrrrggghhh". So stinking cute!
