Finally 5

Afton has been very persistent lately.  She keeps asking us "Am I 5 yet??"  When will I be 5?".  Well, today finally, Afton is 5. 

Afton, you are such a sweet big sister and a thoughtful little sister.  We are so blessed to have you in our family.  You are such an independent little girl, always willing to help out, and do it yourself.  Your spirit is so energetic.  I love how you skip your way around the house to get to where you are going.  You have a loving heart and you are so thoughtful.  These past 5 years have went by so fast, but they are full of so many fun memories of you.  We love you so much beautiful girl!!!

Christmas!!!!!!!!!!

Whew!  It has been a busy time here.  We have had lots to do and lots of toys to play with.  I tried my best to capture the festivities with my camera, but it was a lost cause.  Taking pictures of kids opening up gifts is best left to professionals!!!! 

Birthday Party!

Afton finally got her very own birthday party!  She had a blast.  I am Glad that almost all of her classmates attended.  Only 2 kids could not come due to a broken collarbone and the flu.  It was near impossible to get pictures of these kids.  They were wound up!  When I announced that we were going to open up presents, it was MAD CHAOS!!

Poor Drew just could not take all of the "junk food", and threw up while I was holding him.  Talk about gross!!!  After he did that, he got off my lap and went on to play.  Go figure!

In case you are wondering who the little boy is next to Afton, this is her best friend Ethan.  They are joined at the hip!  Very cute!
