Avery's Teeth

I am SHOCKED that Avery has ANY teeth left!!!!  Last night she was walking (or running) around the island and Drew was turning the bar stool around.  Well, Avery's face smacked right into the bar stool at just the right angle to hit her right in the mouth!  She went off screaming with a bloody lip.  I asked her if she was ok and she came back out to the kitchen to have her snack.  About 20 minutes later, she was in the bathroom and came out yelling "I think I knocked my tooth out!!!".  Chad and I investigated her mouth, and YES there was a tooth missing.  So, now she has that front tooth that is basically hanging on by gum tissue (the dentist tried to pull it, but Avery was not willing) and 2 holes where there used to be teeth but were knocked out due to accidents.  Her bottom two teeth came out naturally...lets hope the rest do to.  Oh, and we never recovered the tooth.  We think she swallowed it...

The picture says "Dear Tooth Fairy, Drew hit my tooth and I cant find it."  She wanted to make sure she still got her dollar.

What I wore

There are many blogs out there that have a "what I wore" series.  Since I do not post all my creative or lack of creative activities, I will not even attempt to do this.  Lets be real.  The only people you are really interested in seeing are the 3 little people that live in this house and since I really do not get traffic on my blog from anyone other than very immediate family, I thought I would do a "what I wore" series featuring the kids.  One kid in particular.  Every night, Afton sets out her outfits with shoes, and shows them off to us before going to bed.  She also will NOT let you touch them or change them.  (now I will insist if she is wanting to wear shorts on a 30 degree day)  Afton has also been doing her own hair.  (God Bless Her!)  She really tries.
So here is the first ever WHAT I WORE!  Enjoy!

Avery wanted me to do her hair like "Sweet and Sassy"  (this is that girly salon for kids).  It wasn't a complete FAIL, but it isn't exactly what she wanted.  Gotta give a mom props for trying.  :-)

Snack Time with Drew
