Afton and I hung out today at the park while Avery was in school. It was a nice morning to be outside.

Avery's 1st day of preschool
Today was Avery's 1st day attending preschool at Worthington Christian Schools. Her teacher is Ms. Katie (I guess it is too hard for the kids to say Ms. McCollister). On our way to the classroom, Avery decided to run her hands along side of a dirty car and got her hands all black. We got all washed up in the bathroom that is in her classroom. Avery goes to school on Tuesday's and Thursday mornings. Her class is called The Teddybears. Today they must have been doing a lesson with dinosaurs. She had a fun little dinosaur that she colored. Daddy even came with me pick her up from her first day at school. Avery was very excited to see us, she said "I'm so happy to see you daddy, I'm so happy to see you mommy". She has no idea of how happy we were to see her. Very cute!!!
Avery has locker number 9.

hummingbirds
During our visit to Pennsylvania, we were able to enjoy the hummingbirds that came to eat outside of Chad's mom & dad's window. I never seen hummingbirds hang out quite so much in my life. Sometimes there were 3 hummingbirds just flying around. They would also kind of put on a show if you were sitting in front of the window, or they would just "perch" themselves on the bird feeders. If you didn't see a hummingbird, all you needed to do is wait a few minutes and one was sure to show up. I wasn't able to get a picture of the hummingbirds, but we were able to get pictures of BABY HUMMINGBIRDS. Amazing. I have never seen a hummingbird nest before, let alone babies. What a treat! The girls LOVED seeing the hummingbirds everyday.
Our August visit to Pennsylvania
These are the cutest pair of legs I have ever seen! woo hoo!
This is what g'ma's handywork. Avery is supposed to be a kitty. We are a lovely Amish family :-)
I think she was having a supermodel moment!
Having a blast!!! Can you tell???
Daddy is a bit too big for this ride.
We just got back home from another trip visiting family in Pennsylvania. We have been able to visit quite often this past year. Unfortunately we did not take many photos since we did not have our camera.

Still No Camera
Unfortunately, we still do not have a camera.... This is why I have not been updating the blog. We sent it away to be fixed about 5 weeks ago, in hopes it would be fixed in time for our trip back to Pennsylvania. It doesn't look like that is going to happen. I will hopefully be able to borrow someone's. I was able to take some pictures with my phone when we went to the Ohio State Fair last week. However, I need to upload them. So, stay tuned....
