Avery asked me if she could color. She had her little box of crayons, but she needed some paper. I got her some and went back to the other room. I thought she was being a little to quiet for a little too long. I went and checked on her. At least she only colored her hands!

bathroom re-do

Chad has started fixin' up the bathroom. As you all know, we had a bit of a problem with the tile & grout in our master bath. Without going into elaborate details, the grout used was not correct and therefore is chipping away. Also, the tile had some pretty rough edges because Chad did not use bullnose. Chad got some gray 4x4 tiles and is going to install them on the tub surround and in the shower stall. However, in the meantime, we are living with our bathtub in the bedroom and we cannot use the masterbath at all. Once the wall tile is installed, and the shower door is re-installed, Chad can start chipping away the grout on the floor tiles. It is a mess!!!!

A new way to wear your favorite shirt

I walked into the living room to find Avery dressing herself. I thought that this was a very interesting way to wear a turtleneck. Afton must of thought it was amusing too!

no fun!

I just wanted to give a small update about what is going on at our house. Both Chad and I have been battling either being sick or having a cold for the past 2 weeks. Unfortunately, we have been stuck in the house for the most of the past 2 1/2 weeks and have serious cabin fever. Our only real outing was going to a Valentines Day party and the next day I was feeling terrible. My voice was completely gone...I guess that was fortunate for the girls because mom wasn't "yelling".
Hopefully we will all be able to get out and about this weekend and get some new pictures posted. Chad has been busy making cabinets for the laundry room and making a corner built in desk for our loft. Our next project is the bathroom!!! UGGHHH!!! We will try to tackle that one in the next 2 weekends.

fun in the 80's

We went to an 80's theme party on Valentines day. What a tragic day for my hair!!!! I actually used a crimper and Aqua Net! Yikes. I have to say that Chad's mustache was the hit of the party!!!!
